Richard Toscano

Mr. Toscano has over 20 years experience in immigration and nationality law, deportation defense, federal litigation (criminal), extradition, and international business transactions (specializing in Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Middle East).

Mr. Toscano started his legal career with the United States Department of Justice in the Trial Attorney section of the Immigration & Nationality Service. He later served as Counsel for the New York State Assembly working on all legislative matters as well as on the 'Task Force for New Americans', the highest Immigration body on the State level. He was also In House Counsel of the Dominican Consulate in New York City working on all legal and liason matters between the Consulate and all New York State, New York City and federal agencies as well as representing the Consulate in any litigation in state or federal Courts. Mr. Toscano is currently Counsel to New York State Assemblyman Jose Peralta.

Mr. Toscano has a JD from Brooklyn Law School and a MBA from Bernard Baruch College. He speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian and is studying Arabic.

Ernest Hammer

Mr. Hammer has practiced law for over fifty years having started out with the Manhattan District Attorney's office under the legendary Frank Hogan. He has represented thousands of individuals and has tried hundreds of cases in both the federal and state Courts throughout the United States. He has built up a representation in defending high profile white collar criminal prosecutions.

Hon. Leonard Finz

The Hon. Leonard Finz has practiced law for over fifty years including nearly a decade as a Judge of the New York State Supreme Court. Upon retirement from the bench, he began a long and lucrative career as a civil trial lawyer in negligence and other mass and complex tort actions and has built up a formidable reputation as a talented and tenacious litigator which has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients. He tried the first tobacco litigation case against the Phillip Morris Corporation in New York.

Mark Weinstein

Mr. Weinstein is currently Counsel to the Hon. Peter Rivera, New York State Assemblyman, as well as former Counsel to the Hon. Olga Mendez, former New York Congresswoman. He has built up a specialty in employment and labor law representing individuals in state and federal courts as well as establishing political connections at the city, state and federal level which has led him to pursue a career in lobbying.

Michael Pogue

Mr. Pogue practices immigration & nationality law representing both individuals and corporations in immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions as well as defending individuals in deportation, exclusion and removal proceedings. He has dual United States/Canadian citizenship and advises on both American and Canadian immigration. He speaks English, French and Spanish.
