Tong Wang, Esq. carries more than 25 years of experience advising US and international corporate clients (including Fortune 500 companies and in-house client) in the Greater New York area. Tong specializes in corporate and transactional matters for private companies, including cross-border business matters. Tong has practiced law in both common law and civil law countries, including representing clients in select complex litigation and arbitration cases, and has successfully represented clients in both confirmation, and opposition thereto, of domestic and foreign arbitral awards. . Strong background in software, IT consulting, e-commerce, life science, technology centric business, foreign direct investment, intellectual property protection, M&A, and private equity funding matters. Tong is a frequent speaker concerning arbitration and ADR. Prior to New York, Tong taught and practiced law overseas.
Tong is a listed neutral of major US and international arbitral tribunals, regularly selected to serve as an arbitrator (chair, sole, emergency, wing) for complex US domestic and international contract disputes (involving parties from Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceana), including ad hoc arbitration. Tong is familiar with major US and international arbitration rules and has dealt with a wide variety of procedural issues arising in various stages of arbitration proceedings.
